DESCRIPTION
The Casa Llotja de Mar is one of Barcelona's iconic landmarks. Standing on the seafront in the historic centre of the city, it was built in the second half of the 14th century, and with its two floors it represents one of the finest examples of medieval Gothic architecture in the Mediterranean.
It has become a firm favourite with both national and international companies as a venue for hosting their most prestigious events.
The wide range of meeting rooms offers a wealth of options for staging gala dinners, meetings, fashion shows... Of all the spaces in the building, the most impressive is the Trading Room – civil Gothic architecture at its finest. This was the site of the Barcelona Stock Exchange up until 1992.
