DESCRIPCIÓ
Situat al costat del mar, el CCIB (Centre de Convencions Internacional de Barcelona) és un emblema de l’arquitectura avantguardista de Barcelona.

El CCIB, un edifici modern, versàtil i funcional de 100.000 m2 amb sostres de fins a 12 m d’alçada i una capacitat per albergar fins a 15.000 delegats, va ser dissenyat per donar més protagonisme a la llum.
Es compon de dos edificis de gran valor arquitectònic, el Centre de Convencions i l’Auditori Fòrum, ambdós units per una rambla subterrània.

El centre, inaugurat al 2004, està equipat amb la última tecnologia i ofereix una àmplia gamma de serveis d’alta qualitat que poden ser adaptats per acollir tot tipus d’esdeveniments nacionals i internacionals.

Des dels inicis, el CCIB ha acollit més de 1.000 esdeveniments de diverses temàtiques organitzats per institucions, associacions i corporacions, tant d’àmbit local com internacional, i ha superat els 4.500.000 delegats. Ha estat, així, escenari de congressos com GI Cancer, Cirse, Euroanaesthesia, ECTRIMS o les convencions de CineEurope, Gartner i SAP.

El CCIB, molt compromès amb el medi ambient, té la missió de gestionar els residus, reciclar-los i assolir l’eficiència energètica reduïnt el consum d’aigua i compensant les seves pròpies emissions de CO2.
